 Ectoplasm drifted over to the food stall, glancing at his shopping list to see what he wanted.  Tombstones and HauntedClaw hurried off before they could be drafted to carry bags.  For my Chem. and Sci-Fi class the final project was to write a story... so here's mine  
 
 
 
 Tom changed out of his uniform and hung it up neatly in the closet. He cast a final look around the room and made sure he had his keys before flicking the light off and shutting the door.  
 Like usual, he was one of the last people to leave the office.  
 But not the last.  
 As he walked toward the elevator, he noticed that the light was on in one of the rooms. He sighed softly and went toward it, knocking on the half-open door.

Question for my visitors

Hi all



So as I'm on an art website here, I know that lots of the people who visit are not big fans of mathematics.

But. what I would like to know is, why?
More accurately, what specifically about math have you always found difficult, or evil or whatever. So think back to a class that you took or are taking. What topics or things were hard? Like, fractions or negative numbers or square roots or polynomials or trig or derivatives, or integrals or matrices or splitting fields (or maybe that last one is just me)

This is for something I'm pondering, so please respond.
